Job Summary
Senior Electronic Systems Design Engineer for the E-7A program, based in Tukwila, WA. Lead and collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines to plan, design, develop, and verify highly complex lifecycle balanced systems of systems and system solutions. Define and maintain stakeholder requirements with traceability throughout the product lifecycle; conduct validation reviews to ensure verifiable requirements; manage interactions across system boundaries including human, mechanical, electrical, thermal, and data interfaces. Create and implement strategic approaches for program and business-area decisions, and define a system architecture (structure, interfaces, derivations) and corresponding models to support rigorous data-driven understanding and decision-making. Role requires demonstrated leadership of complex projects, effective communication to technical and non-technical audiences, and experience with System Modeling tools and languages (e.g., Enterprise Architecture, Cameo/MSOSA, UML/SysML, 3DX, CATIA). Mentoring and guiding teams of engineers, familiarity with EGSP, relocation eligibility, and active U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Note: Relocation is offered for eligible candidates; this position is 100% onsite and includes standard Boeing benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 10+ years of experience with engineering of large-scale systems and overall systems engineering disciplines.
