Job Summary
Senior Electronic Repair Technician responsible for repairing complex electronic/mechanical equipment at component level, performing complex new product development, and traveling to customer sites as needed. Focus on fixture design, warranty and root-cause analysis, and developing cycle-time improvements. Lead testing method development and stand-up testing standards, manage service reports, and mentor less experienced technicians. Emphasizes adherence to Core Values, safety procedures, continuous improvement, and collaboration with customers to ensure quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- more than ten years related experience and/or training; or twelve years equivalent combination of education and experience
- advanced level of electronic and/or mechanical skills
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
