Job Summary
Senior Electronic Engineer responsible for the design, development, and validation of electronic systems supporting automation, control, and monitoring of biospheric systems. Role involves PCB design (KiCad/Altium), component selection, mechanical/electrical integration, supplier coordination for PCB fabrication/assembly, EMC mitigation and reliability strategies, board bring-up and debugging, test planning and validation documentation, and embedded test firmware collaboration with software teams. Requires 6+ years in electronic design, proficiency in schematic/PCB/DFM-DFT, EMC/EMI experience, MCU experience (STM32 or similar) and RS-485/I2C/SPI, EMS/SMT supplier management, and familiarity with aerospace standards; space-rated hardware experience a plus. Fluent in English; French a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in electronic design for industrial, aerospace, or consumer products
- Proficiency in schematic design, PCB layout, and DFM/DFT principles
- Experience with EMC/EMI mitigation and validation testing
- Familiarity with microcontrollers (STM32 or similar) and communication buses (RS-485, I2C, SPI)
- Experience managing EMS/SMT suppliers and prototype production
- Exposure to SSP 57000 requirements or similar aerospace standards is a plus
