Job Summary
Lead execution and quality of high-voltage system analysis including cable sizing, fuse coordination, incident energy calculations, and power flow studies. Establish and standardize modeling practices and data quality requirements while serving as the technical subject matter expert for HV system analysis. Drive continuous improvement of analysis methods and modeling capability to ensure alignment between outputs and system design decisions. Lead and coordinate a globally distributed team executing HV analysis activities by setting priorities, allocating resources, and managing workload forecasting. Develop team capability through mentoring and coaching while establishing governance routines for execution discipline and maintaining accountability for quality and timeliness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Extensive experience and knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques
- Ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes
- Extensive experience and understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy
- Ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision
- Extensive experience and knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis
- Ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
- Working knowledge and understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques
- Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
- Extensive experience and knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems
- Ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations
- Working knowledge of a given technology and various application methods
- Ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges
- Working knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics
- Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives
- 5-day a week on-site availability
- Domestic relocation
