Job Summary
Repairs and installs electrical systems, apparatus, and components for machinery and equipment, following codes, manuals, and blueprints. Connects power supply wires and cables between machines, detects malfunctioning apparatus like transformers and motors, and replaces faulty components such as relays, switches, and printed circuit boards. Diagnoses and repairs electronic components using test equipment, rewrites motors, and programs automated machinery to test for malfunctions. Requires active TS/SCI CI Polygraph security clearance, high school diploma, and electrical safety certification. Part-time role onsite in Springfield, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Must have ability to obtain an active TS/SCI CI Polygraph security clearance
- HS diploma or additional work experience in lieu is acceptable
- May be required to hold electrician's license
- Required to maintain electrical safety certification
