Job Summary
Senior Electrician responsible for safely and efficiently maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, consulting, researching, and developing electrical process control instrumentation to optimize production efficiency. Serves as a resource for multiple aggregate facilities, overseeing in-house electrical repairs and upgrades from minor to major projects, troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls and drives, and coordinating with engineering and contracted vendors on capital improvement efforts. Emphasizes safety compliance, mentoring less experienced staff, and contributing to improvements in safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability across sites. Travel required between quarry locations in Virginia; schedule includes early hours with weekend work as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year technical degree in electrical technology, apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Certified/licensed Electrician (preferred)
- 1 year experience in aggregate/mining or similar industry (preferred)
- Experience with PLCs (preferred)
