Senior Electrical Test Engineer — Medical Device (Hybrid — Valencia, CA) Contract – Possible Contract to Hire

Job Summary
Design custom automated test equipment (ATE) for R&D verification, validation, and production, including system design, circuit design, and software programming. Lead the ATE process from early prototype to manufacturing delivery while defining test requirements, specifications, and validation plans. Perform statistical analysis, estimate costs, and determine build schedules for test systems. Validate test fixtures in an FDA-regulated medical environment and support troubleshooting for both new product development and sustaining products. Generate comprehensive documentation including manufacturing test specifications and validation reports.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years electronics and software design experience
- 2+ years experience with LabVIEW programming
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering
- Test system design for high reliability applications
- Experience designing test systems for medical, aerospace, automotive, or other high reliability applications
- Experience with electronic test system design/development
- Experience with various types of data acquisition
- Ability to document designs and reports in a clear and concise manner
- Good interaction with other team members in the development of specifications and in the troubleshooting process
- Hybrid in Valencia, CA
