Senior Electrical Project Superintendent (East/West Coast)

Job Summary
Oversee all field activities, including organization, management, and execution of electrical projects, while ensuring the Short Interval Construction schedule controls job costs. Establish relationships with general contractors, interpret drawings, and recommend construction methods to maintain quality and code compliance. Monitor progress, track materials, and resolve issues regarding procedures, complaints, delays, and safety incidents. Direct solutions to keep projects within budget and enforce company safety measures and regulations. Assist project managers with procedures and participate in scheduling, coordination, and closeout meetings. Travel throughout Florida to job sites, with potential overtime, nights, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic mathematical operations and calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, order of operations) to calculate labor, materials, and/or cost estimates for projects and work orders, etc.
- Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in the English language at a 12th-grade level
- Minimum of eight (8) years of construction management and/or craft supervision experience in similar facility construction or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods), negotiations, engineering, cost control schedules, and safety
- Expert working knowledge of National Electrical Codes
- Must have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and a strong safety background
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver's license in good standing to meet the company's driving requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Ability to wear company-approved Personal Protective Equipment per local, state, federal, or OSHA regulations
- The employee must frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds
- Requires the ability to perform physical duties listed above for extended periods
- Ability to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
- Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
- Ability to access all areas of the facility and projects to determine purchasing needs
- Regular communication with colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders requires the ability to exchange information effectively in both verbal and written form
- Requires the ability to report to job sites throughout Florida; locations vary depending on the individual's home location
- May be requested to work overtime, nights, and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Active Florida Journeyman or Master Electrician License
- Bilingual
- Four (4) year Engineering Degree
- Intermediate experience with AccuBid, Bluebeam, Autodesk, Raken, and Plangrid
- OSHA 30
