Job Summary
Electrical Construction Project Manager to lead data center construction projects from cradle to grave including budgets, procurement, scheduling, change orders, and liaison with clients; oversee on-site supervision, safety, and adherence to design standards; coordinate with vendors and subcontractors; manage multiple projects regionally.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as a General Contractor
- Experience managing a budget 100mm or more
- 5+ years’ experience as a licensed journeyman electrician (a plus)
- 5+ years of supervisory experience / People and Resource Management
- Thorough knowledge of electrical trade practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Ability to supervise skilled workers and provide leadership
- Experience interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and specifications
- Experience with Electrical Conduits / Power Systems (UPS, Switchgear, Generators, PDU)
- OSHA Certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Finance experience - forecasting, budgets, etc.
- Computer skills: MS Project, Excel, Teams, Oracle Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Procore, AutoCAD
- Travel as needed to project sites
- BA / BS / Associates Degree a plus but not required
- Client-facing/Client relationship/Client management skills
- Solid Construction Project Management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter, detail-oriented
