Senior Electrical Project Manager, Field Delivery Lead

Job Summary

Oversee full scope of electrical systems delivery from utility interconnect through low-voltage distribution, UPS, busway, and PDUs. Lead day-to-day field coordination of electrical and mechanical construction, managing installation, inspection, and quality assurance while driving energization planning and commissioning readiness. Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings for compliance, monitor installation quality to prevent rework, and work directly with GC field leadership to maintain schedule adherence. Enforce rigorous safety standards on-site and resolve issues proactively to keep construction momentum. Requires 10+ years of progressive electrical construction experience on data center projects, familiarity with BIM and scheduling tools, and availability for frequent travel if living outside Fort Stockton.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive electrical construction experience
  • strong track record of field leadership on large-scale projects
  • Direct experience on data center or mission-critical facility projects
  • Deep knowledge of electrical distribution systems including MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, busway, and PDU configurations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead field teams, manage trade coordination, and solve problems in real time under schedule pressure
  • Hands-on experience supporting commissioning, energization, and startup activities on complex electrical systems
  • familiarity with BIM practices
  • familiarity with P6 scheduling
  • familiarity with project management tools like Procore or ACC
  • familiarity with CX Alloy
  • Must be available for frequent travel to and from the site

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working on the owner's side of hyperscale data center construction
  • Familiarity with commissioning management platforms
  • Familiarity with construction scheduling software
  • OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety credentials
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
