Job Summary
Senior Electrical Construction Project Manager to support data-center construction projects in Augusta, GA. Responsibilities include cradle-to-grave project management: estimates, procurement, staffing, budget management, change orders, scheduling, and ensuring work meets design standards and quality. Lead on-site supervision, liaise with clients and vendors, develop project plans, track expenses, manage multiple projects, and drive adherence to safety standards (OSHA). Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Procore, AutoCAD. This role emphasizes leadership of regional teams, value engineering, and financial oversight of contracts.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as a General Contractor
- Experience managing a budget 100mm or more
- 5+ years’ experience as a licensed journeyman electrician a plus
- 5+ years of supervisory experience / People and Resource Management
- Thorough knowledge of electrical trade practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools
- Knowledge of safety precautions and OSHA standards
- Ability to supervise skilled workers and provide guidance
- Experience interpreting blueprints and specifications (electrical/mechanical)
- Experience with Electrical Conduits / Power Systems (UPS, Switchgear, Generators, PDUs)
- Background in electrical installations (crown box, offset and slice junction)
- 5-10 years relevant in Data Center Construction
- BA/BS/Associates Degree a plus but not required
- Client facing/relationship management
- Solid Construction Project Management
- Strong communication and independence
- Travel as needed
- OSHA Certification (or ability to get within 12 months)
- Finance/Forecasting experience
