Job Summary
Manage all phases of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, including planning, execution, monitoring, and design management. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and engineering teams to resolve issues and lead proposal reviews, leveling, and vendor selection processes. Direct contract negotiations, budget oversight, and schedule control to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Act as the Owner's Advisor, guiding clients through design complexities and incorporating ownership priorities into construction logistics. Lead the team on a new build data center site in Martindale, TX, delivering results aligned with the firm's standard to manage each project like we own it.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- 9+ years of electrical construction project management experience
- Experience managing large-scale corporate fit-out, healthcare, mission-critical, data center, higher education, or infrastructure projects
- Experience with AV (audio-visual) systems, structured cabling, low-voltage systems, and IT-related electrical infrastructure, including coordination with technology integrators and network teams
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, codes, and industry standards
- Proven experience managing projects with significant electrical scopes and multi-million-dollar budgets
- Firm knowledge and understanding of construction methods, materials and sequences, and architectural/construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Business presentation skills
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and staff across organizational lines, including other client business units
- Excellent analytical skills
- Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines
