Job Summary
Senior Electrical Project Manager responsible for leading complex electrical construction projects, providing primary project leadership and coordinating with regional heads, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Oversees scope evaluation, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration (subcontracts, RFIs, change orders), and documentation controls to ensure projects meet schedule and profitability targets. Manages client relationships, pursues additional work, maintains risk controls, and mentors project managers and superintendents. Requires up to 100% travel, on-site coordination, BIM/2D shop drawings collaboration, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in construction design, finance, and management
- Strong project management skills, including documentation, cost control, procurement, scheduling, negotiation, and change order management, including pricing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy, and influence
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Advanced problem-solving, scheduling, and cost-control abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and the ability and willingness to learn new software systems
- Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee and project performance
