Job Summary
Lead procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for large-scale residential construction projects. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, quality compliance, and timely delivery aligned with project specifications and schedules. Review technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications to verify correct material selection, while controlling budgets and supporting value engineering initiatives. Coordinate with site and technical teams to manage requirements, maintain the supplier database, monitor vendor performance, and ensure adherence to company policies. Prepare regular procurement reports for management. Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of procurement experience in residential developments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
- 5+ years of experience in procurement within construction or real estate development projects
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation and contract management
- Strong understanding of cost estimation and procurement budgeting
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement packages simultaneously
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems (LV, MV, lighting, power distribution, ELV systems is a plus)
- Experience in residential projects (villas, compounds, or high-rise residential developments)
