Job Summary
Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician responsible for electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipment, including high voltage repairs (controls, relays), installation and repair of electrical systems and components of industrial machinery, and preventive maintenance. Tasks include diagnosing problems using blueprints, schematics, and test equipment; fabricating/installing equipment; coordinating with contractors; maintaining documentation in maintenance software; conducting crane and lifting equipment inspections; and upholding safety rules. Preferred experience with crane, welding, VFD, PLC, ARC Flash, and manufacturing environments. This role is on-site in Clinton, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of related electrical maintenance experience (3 Phase 480V and below) electrical experience (≤ 600AMP)
- Ability to understand principles of mechanical and electrical controls and understand general mechanical and electrical schematics
- Ability to trouble shoot and test all electrical applications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
