Job Summary
Senior E&I Technician responsible for providing a clear operational interface across Kings Lynn and Diss Compressor Stations during major control system replacement projects; duties include technical support, interpreting drawings, contributing to risk assessments and permit submissions, leading safety practices, and maintaining hands-on maintenance and upkeep of assets in a live environment. Requires experience across operations and project delivery, strong stakeholder management, and qualification in electrical/instrumentation with a time-served apprenticeship; SC security clearance is a potential requirement, and role involves standby duty and regional travel.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in procurement, design, delivery and commissioning
- Project Management qualification
- Process Safety qualification
- Time-served apprenticeship
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical or Instrumentation
- Strong understanding of safe systems of work and permit systems (including SCO/91 & 94)
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings, and risk assessments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence
