Job Summary
Highly accomplished Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer responsible for maintaining safety standards and ensuring compliance with engineering requirements. Candidates are expected to possess in-depth knowledge of instrumentation and controls, specifically for turbomachinery, along with proficiency in creating detailed electrical and control panel drawings. Role involves contributing to the development of innovative solutions, attending design reviews, and providing technical guidance. Experience with PLC, DCS, LabVIEW, and SolidWorks is essential, along with familiarity with electrical codes. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to conduct effective Factory Acceptance Tests.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 7-9 years of proven expertise in the design of electrical schematics, control panels, and instrumentation and controls systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated very good problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within the Turbo-Expander or Pump System Engineering or Manufacturing environment, including the design of rotating equipment
- Ability to produce well-articulated technical reports
- Strong understanding of diverse equipment and instrumentation utilized in cryogenic plants
- Very good knowledge in PLC and LabVIEW
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
- Experience with failure and root cause analysis
- Knowledge of international electrical codes such as CSA, IEC, NEC, KCS, and CE
