Job Summary
Senior Electrical Estimator leading preconstruction strategy for commercial electrical and general construction projects. Drive bid strategy, evaluate opportunities with leadership, develop conceptual through final estimates, analyze drawings/specifications/subcontractor proposals, and lead value engineering to improve competitiveness. Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams; partner with project management for smooth project handoff; influence estimating department growth and take ownership across electrical and general construction scopes in Florida and Puerto Rico.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years in electrical estimating (commercial preferred)
- experience in preconstruction and bid strategy
- familiarity with Accubid and On-Screen Takeoff (preferred)
- strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination
- ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
- bilingual (English/Spanish)
