Senior Electrical Estimator

Senior Estimator leads the estimating activities within Enterprise Electrical’s Estimating Department for commercial, industrial, and design-build projects. Responsibilities include developing accurate, competitive takeoff bid proposals; reviewing RFQs/RFPs; managing estimating processes and timelines; communicating with customers to define project scope and negotiate pricing; reviewing estimates for compliance with drawings and specifications; preparing bid documentation and contractual exhibits; conducting internal estimate reviews; mentoring junior estimators; delivering analytical cost summaries and recommendations to senior leadership; participating in job walks and project turnover; maintaining confidentiality of estimating data and pricing strategies; tracking bid results and following up with clients; and supporting department and company needs. Requires 5–10 years of electrical construction estimating experience, knowledge of electrical codes/standards, proficiency with Accubid and LiveCount, strong communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Office-based with periodic travel to job sites; occasional extended hours to meet bid deadlines.
