Job Summary
Conduct conceptual estimating, budget development, and BIM 5D cost modeling for large-scale electrical projects across multiple sectors. Reconcile invoices and change orders with general contractors, subcontractors, and third parties while performing value analysis and risk evaluations. Mentor estimating technicians and participate in peer review processes to ensure quality work products. Develop and nurture client relationships to drive satisfaction and support senior management with necessary reports. Prepare project plans and provide bid analysis and post-contract support, utilizing proficiency in electrical drawings and construction specifications. Work normal business hours with flexibility for varied schedules, possibly including weekends or evenings.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
- 5+ years in Electrical Cost & Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying with professional accreditation
- Professional accreditation – MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE or equivalent
- Ability to read electrical drawings
- Proficient in excel
- Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours; possibly work weekends or evenings
