Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineering Technician at Anduril responsible for executing and supporting assigned tasks and projects, building prototypes and sub-assemblies, preparing feasibility test units, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing PCBAs and harnesses, sourcing components under guidance, fabricating test equipment, and using standard test equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, power supplies, DMMs). Requires reading complex schematics and drawings, proficiency with IPC standards, and travel up to 10% to customer sites; must be a U.S. Person for access to export-controlled information.
Required Qualifications
- Associate level degree in electronics/electrical assembly or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years experience as an engineering technician in a prototype/engineering development lab
- Ability to read and understand complex PCBA schematics, cable assembly drawings, and test procedures
- Experience building and troubleshooting prototype electro-mechanical hardware (PCBAs, cables, harnesses)
- Familiar with standard electrical prototyping processes (PCBA rework)
- Extensive prototyping experience including soldering, crimping, assembling cables to IPC standards
- Knowledge of electrical components and connectors; comfortable with basic hand tools and crimping equipment
- Basic electrical concepts and understanding; familiarity with DMMs, oscilloscopes, function generators
- Ability to travel up to 10% to customer sites
- Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export controlled information or facilities
