Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for designing electrical power distribution, lighting, and control systems for large commercial and K-12 educational facilities. responsibilities include creating single line diagrams, wiring and layout diagrams, coordinating plant electrical systems to meet codes and standards, reviewing supplier drawings for dimensional compatibility, interfacing with clients, vendors, contractors, and other engineers, producing construction documents and specifications, ensuring designs comply with company standards, performing QA checks on design deliverables, and comparing budgets and schedules to coordinate multidiscipline teams. Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, 6+ years of consulting experience, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; PE license is a plus. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering technology degree
- 6+ years of work experience with an engineering consultant
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD design software
- Proficiency with Bluebeam
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracy
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering technology degree
- 6+ years of work experience with an engineering consultant
- PE Licensed (preferred)
- Strong oral, written, and communication skills
- Project experience in K-12 educational market (preferred)
- Experience with MEP calculations and Title-24 documentation (preferred)
