Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Lead electrical engineering efforts for complex projects from design development through construction administration, managing system design, analysis, detailing, and technical documentation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure integrated delivery while serving as the primary technical contact for clients. Prepare specifications, statements of special inspections, basis of design reports, and systems matrices, overseeing drawing production, quality control, and engineering deliverables. Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence across teams while supporting department leadership with staffing, budgeting, and standards development. Requires a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency in Revit. Based in Philadelphia, PA (hybrid), with periodic travel for site visits.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Minimum of 10 years of electrical engineering experience in building design and construction projects
  • Experience leading electrical engineering projects and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Proficiency with Revit and engineering analysis software
  • Experience preparing construction documents, technical reports, specifications, and engineering calculations
  • Strong understanding of construction administration processes and project coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables
  • Must be able to travel periodically for project surveys, field investigations, and construction site visits
  • Must agree to receive calls, Al-generated calls, text messages, or emails from Synerfac Technical Staffing and our contracted partners

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree or other advanced engineering degree
  • Previous mentoring, team leadership, or project management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of contractual, liability, and risk management considerations within engineering projects
  • Experience conducting field investigations, site visits, and construction-phase support activities
  • Active participation in professional engineering organizations
