Job Summary

Diagnose complex electrical system issues, assess functionality, and outline cascading effects for urban scene building and facility condition assessments. Develop, interpret, and implement software and AI tools to support infrastructure design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance. Provide electrical engineering reviews for power distribution, communications, controls, and security systems, while performing studies to determine vulnerabilities across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection domains. Create standard operating procedures for design, testing, and development of electrical equipment and systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure efficient service delivery and provide professional inputs on infrastructure decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Active and in-scope TS/SCI polygraph clearance
  • US Citizen
  • Masters degree with 15+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Doctorate with 13+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Proficiency in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) tools
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) systems, fire protection systems, communications, controls, and security systems
  • Ability to apply federal, state, local and international building codes and standards
  • Demonstrated expertise in the design, development, and testing of complex electrical systems
  • Familiarity with commercial and industrial control systems
  • Deep understanding of high availability and multi-building electrical facilities operations
  • Ability to resolve highly complex, multi-disciplinary technical problems across electrical systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and clients on technical strategy and results
  • Registered Professional Engineering (P.E.) in electrical engineering from any U.S. state or territory
  • Proven experience with electrical construction, systems integration, and testing in field environments
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other CAD and BIM software tools
  • Familiarity with python programing, java script, and application of AI tools
  • Proficiency in the use electrical power systems analysis software tools such as ETAP, SKM, and EasyPower

Desired Qualifications

  • Recognized subject matter expert (SME) in electrical engineering design, commissioning, operations and maintenance for facilities and building infrastructures
