Job Summary
Electrical Engineer with strong EPLAN Electric P8 experience to design and document electrical systems for semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment. Responsibilities include developing schematics, wiring lists, BOMs; managing configuration across multi-variant builds; applying IEC/NEC/UL/SEMI safety standards; ensuring design-for-manufacturability and design-for-serviceability; collaborating with electronics, mechanics, software, and physics teams; and supporting panel builds with release-ready documentation. Requires 3+ years’ electrical design experience and BE/BTech/MTech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering; proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 and familiarity with ECM and BOM release processes. Located in Pune, India; role is in-person.
Required Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 3+ years of electrical design experience in an industrial or high-tech machinery environment
- Proficient working knowledge of EPLAN Electric P8
- Experience producing EPLAN drawings including master plans, wiring lists, and cable calculations
- AC power and control panel design knowledge (UL 508A or IEC standards)
- Familiarity with Engineering Change Management (ECM) and BOM release processes
- Understanding of IEC 60204-1 and core electrical safety standards (NEC, UL, SEMI)
- Ability to select components for power distribution, protection circuits, sensors, and I/O controllers
- Experience in semiconductor, wafer processing, etch/deposition, or analytical equipment
