Job Summary
The Senior Electrical Engineer will design electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom, and security for institutional projects across various markets. Responsibilities include developing design calculations, preparing detailed design documents in REVIT, leading a project team, managing projects, coordinating with owners and architects, ensuring code compliance, and guiding junior engineers. Qualifications include a minimum of 8 years’ experience, a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, a Professional Engineer license, and proficiency in Revit and MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years’ design experience as a registered engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Possess a Professional Engineer license, PE
- Experience with complex institutional projects
- Excellent work ethic and attitude
- Interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead a team and work as part of a team
- Proficient in Revit and MS Office
Desired Qualifications
- LEED experience, certification is desired
- Familiarity with codes, standards and design guidelines
