Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for designing electrical power distribution (medium/low voltage), grounding, lighting, fire alarm, and communications systems for industrial projects; lead a team of electrical designers and engineers, mentor staff, and coordinate work to deliver final design deliverables while acting as the client interface and project manager on small to mid-scale electrical projects; prepare proposals and fee estimates, deliver client presentations, and represent the electrical discipline throughout the project; provide construction support including cost estimating, phasing/scheduling, site inspections, punch lists, and shop drawing review; produce technical reports to define projects and provide technical direction; required BSEE, 8+ years experience, and PE license; knowledge of NFPA, NESC, ANSI/IEEE standards, energy and building codes; opportunities for professional development within Ramboll's Solutions for Industry team.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE degree
- PE license
- 8+ years relevant work experience
- 2+ years experience leading a team of design professionals in a consulting engineering environment
