Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Studies responsible for leading and executing advanced power system studies (ampacity, short circuit, grounding, harmonics, transient, and more). Acts as a technical expert and project leader, ensuring accuracy and innovation in deliverables, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with internal teams and clients to translate analyses into real-world grid modernization and renewable integration solutions. Requires deep hands-on modeling skills with ETAP, CYMCAP, WinIGS, CDEGS, EMTP, PSCAD; familiarity with IEEE/ICEA/NFPA/NEC/ANSI standards; programming in Python/Excel/MathCAD; PE license strongly preferred. Required Qualifications
- Technical mastery in power system modeling with tools like ETAP, CYMCAP, WinIGS, CDEGS, EMTP, PSCAD
- Strong grasp of IEEE, ICEA, NFPA, NEC, ANSI standards and their practical application
- Analytical and programming experience using Excel, MathCAD, and Python (preferred)
- PE license strongly preferred
