Senior Electrical Engineer -Power Generation

Job Summary
Lead moderate to large-scale electrical engineering projects from concept through delivery, serving as technical lead for power system designs, controls drawings, and engineering calculations. Execute electrical system studies, detailed design work, and field investigations while using SKM or ETAP for modeling and analysis. Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, and vendors to prepare specifications for equipment procurement and installation, proactively identifying risks and scope changes. Contribute to proposal development, cost estimating, and business growth efforts while mentoring junior engineers. Manage 10% travel for site visits and client meetings within a hybrid or remote work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven experience in a technical leadership role
- Direct experience supporting industrial facilities
- Experience using SKM or ETAP
- Strong working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, IEEE, API and AGA recommended practices
- Ability to think strategically and drive ideas from concept to implementation
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and direct project teams
- Excellent communication and follow-through
- Strong presentation and client-facing skills
- Ability to adapt in fast-moving project environments
- Self-motivated with a commitment to delivering high-quality, technically sound work

- Ability to travel for short durations to support site visits, field investigations and client meetings (approximately 10%)
