Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer for data-center-focused power systems design and commissioning. Responsibilities include managing multidisciplinary electrical design projects for large data centers, developing conceptual designs from client meetings, coordinating with management on RFP responses, leading design teams, producing construction documents, specifications, and sequences of operations, and communicating with clients and stakeholders. Required expertise includes electrical distribution design for data centers, experience with generators, UPS, PDUs, switchgear, and proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP; ability to lead design teams, review shop drawings and RFIs, and ensure code compliance. The role emphasizes design, leadership, collaboration across trades, and delivering project documentation and client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering degree
- Experience with Electrical Power Systems / Power Distribution System design
- Experience with generators, UPS, PDUs, switchgear
- Proficiency with AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP
- Strong communication and leadership in multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop construction documents and specifications
- Experience with field observations, commissioning support, and RFI/Shop drawing reviews
