Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer to design and lead electrical power systems for data centers and expansions. Responsibilities include managing multidisciplinary electrical design projects, developing conceptual designs from client meetings, coordinating with management on RFPs, reviewing shop drawings and RFIs, producing construction documents, leading design teams, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP for building-system designs, experience with generators, UPS, PDUs, switchgear, and power distribution layouts, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders are required. The role involves field involvement, coordination with project management, and guiding interns/engineers through project execution.
Required Qualifications
- 8-15 years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering degree
- Licensed PE / EIT a Plus
- Experience with design of electrical systems for data centers
- Proficiency with AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP
- Experience with data center / mission-critical projects
- Knowledge of electrical systems including distribution, lighting, grounding, life safety; familiarity with NEC and related codes
- Strong communication and coordination with project teams and clients
