Senior Electrical Engineer - Pharmaceutical Design

Job Summary

Develop and manage all electrical design for complex life sciences projects, with specific experience in pharmaceutical, laboratory, and clean room environments. Generate and review calculations, equipment specifications, controls drawings, and construction drawings while maintaining familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and cGMP requirements. Provide weekly status reports to project managers covering project status, budget, and schedule. Develop proposals and client presentations, utilizing strong communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and co-workers. Travel to sites approximately 15-20% of the time. Requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license, at least ten years of independent project design experience, and proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM 360. Must commit to a hybrid schedule with at least three days in the Cary, NC office.

Required Qualifications

  • PE License
  • Must be able to commit to a hybrid work schedule with at least 3 days in the Cary, NC office
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM 360
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience designing and managing projects independently
  • Thorough understanding of the principles of the discipline he/she is designing
  • Graduate from an engineering curriculum accredited by the Accreditation for Engineering and Technology (A.E.T.) or from a non-accredited engineering curriculum or related engineering science or with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering
