Job Summary
Lead the design and coordination of electrical systems across healthcare, mission critical, higher education, and large-scale commercial projects. Produce and oversee high-quality construction documents, drawings, and specifications utilizing Revit and AutoCAD. Coordinate with architects, interior designers, civil engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions. Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and reviews. Participate in client meetings, project presentations, and technical discussions. Support business development through proposal participation, scope development, and fee estimating. Conduct field investigations, site assessments, and construction-phase support including RFIs and submittals. Ensure NEC compliance and engineering best practices. Contribute to continuous improvement and technical excellence across the team. Manage multiple projects with quality, responsiveness, and schedule accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in building electrical systems design
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of NEC standards and building electrical infrastructure
- Experience with SKM and/or EasyPower
- Strong client-facing communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project and site support needs
