Job Summary
Lead design and coordination of electrical distribution, power and lighting systems for commercial and K-12 educational facilities. Responsibilities include single-line diagrams, wiring/layout, equipment specification, emergency power layout, coordinating with clients, vendors, contractors, and architects; producing construction documents and schedules; ensuring compliance with codes and company standards; reviewing supplier drawings and conducting QA across electrical and control engineering deliverables; aligning project budgets and multidiscipline schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering technology degree
- 6+ years of work experience with an engineering consultant
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD design software
- Proficiency with Bluebeam
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracy
Desired Qualifications
- PE Licensed (preferred)
- Strong oral, written, and communication skills
- Project experience in K-12 educational market
- Understanding of MEP calculations, and Title-24 documentation
