Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer - Mixed Signal (Instrumentation) role focusing on designing, implementing, testing, and documenting analog and digital circuits for analytical instrumentation and accessories. Develop mixed signal circuits for instrument control, signal processing, and high-voltage/high-frequency subsystems; collaborate with cross-functional teams to support verification, validation, and manufacturing transition. Requires BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience; C/C++, Python programming skills highly desired; experience with schematic capture, PCB design, and hardware debugging. Onsite at Santa Clara with hybrid work (minimum 3 days onsite per week); opportunity to contribute across spectrum from low-noise signal measurement to high-voltage systems in an R&D environment; involvement in design from concept through production, balancing performance, reliability, cost, and time-to-market.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5 or more years of experience as an electrical design engineer
- Experience in analog and digital circuit design
- Exposure to low-level signal design and higher-voltage/high-frequency electronics
- Programming experience (C/C++, Python) highly desired
- Experience with schematic capture, PCB design, hardware debugging
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment
