Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and execution of resilient, high-performance building systems across healthcare, higher education, mission-critical environments. Lead electrical system design for lighting, power distribution, and specialty systems; develop construction documents, technical specifications, and engineering narratives using Revit and AutoCAD; coordinate with architects, civil engineers, interior designers, and multidisciplinary teams; perform power system analysis using SKM and/or EasyPower; participate in project meetings, present design concepts, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders; mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and design reviews; support proposal development, scope creation, fee estimates, and business development efforts; conduct field investigations, review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support construction-phase activities; ensure projects meet quality, budget, and schedule expectations; stay current with evolving electrical engineering technologies, codes, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 10+ years of experience in building electrical systems design
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and power distribution systems
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and PDF markup tools
- Experience with SKM and/or EasyPower
- Strong communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits
