Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer leads electrical design for commercial and institutional building projects, developing power distribution, lighting, and building electrical system designs; oversees design efforts through concept to construction administration; manages project schedules, budgets, and staffing; coordinates with MEP teams, architects, and contractors; interfaces with clients to review requirements and solutions; mentors junior engineers; reviews drawings for quality and code compliance; utilizes AutoCAD and, where applicable, Revit; based in Fenton, MO on a hybrid schedule and supports relocation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of electrical design experience in commercial or institutional buildings
- Strong experience designing electrical systems for building projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Ability to manage project resources, schedules, and budgets
- Strong client communication and leadership skills
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with Revit / BIM modeling
- Experience managing full project teams or leading electrical departments on projects
- Experience across municipal, healthcare, education, and industrial facilities
- Relocation assistance beneficial
