Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer to lead architectural/MEP electrical design for complex facilities. Responsibilities include architecting full lifecycle electrical system designs (power distribution, lighting controls, fire alarm, low-voltage integration), steering multi-discipline teams from concept through construction, leading design and construction meetings as primary technical contact, performing engineering calculations and reports to ensure compliance with building codes, conducting construction administration site visits and RFI resolutions, supporting business development with technical credibility, and mentoring junior engineers in Revit and AutoCAD workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years of electrical design experience within an MEP/architectural/engineering consulting firm
- Expert command of Revit and AutoCAD; experience with Bluebeam and MS Office
- Project budgets, schedules, and multi-discipline coordination experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to influence stakeholders and lead client-facing discussions
