Job Summary
Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for commercial, industrial, municipal, and healthcare facilities. Conduct site visits, inspections, and field surveys to support design and construction phases. Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, and load calculations. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Review submittals and RFIs during construction administration. Serve as Project Engineer and Project Manager on smaller, less complex projects. Use engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work. Capable of leading a team of engineers and working independently with little guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Min 7 years of relevant electrical design experience
- Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IEEE)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States

Desired Qualifications
- Commissioning experience a plus
- Ability to work independently with general instructions/guidance from senior engineers to produce the expected results
- Experience with sustainable design and LEED-certified projects
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask to meet specific project deadlines
