Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer at Kraken Robotics in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Lead PCB design and development, circuit simulations, wiring harness design, system integration, and cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, firmware, and product design teams. Responsible for project leadership from concept to completion, manufacturing support, testing and validation, design reviews, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Mentors junior engineers and technologists, participates in design reviews, creates test plans, and supports customers in field operations. Preferred experience with Altium, Zuken E3, Sonar systems for ocean environments, LabVIEW, high voltages, ABB motors and drives, and embedded controllers.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
- 8+ years' experience
- experience with PCB design and manufacturing
- strong troubleshooting and design skills
