Job Summary
Lead the electrical design process for large-scale and smaller projects; manage project schedules and coordinate the design team; engage directly with architects and clients to ensure project requirements; conduct initial project evaluations and prepare detailed reports and documentation; produce comprehensive design documents including drawings and specifications; ensure all designs meet codes and project criteria through design reviews; willingness to travel for project needs.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Electrical Design including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, coordination/arc flash studies
- BS in Electrical Engineering with PE Registration
- Strong knowledge of Building Codes, Applicable NFPA Codes and Energy Codes
- Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Experience in Federal/Municipal Government, Healthcare or Aviation preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
- Must know REVIT and AutoCAD
- Must be self-motivated and work independently to complete work assignments
- Must be able to work as part of a team and balance multiple projects
- Must be a US Citizen
