Job Summary
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design of electrical systems, assist in business development, and provide technical direction across projects. Responsibilities include mentoring engineers, ensuring design compliance with codes, managing project budgets and schedules, and overseeing the construction phase. Strong qualifications include a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, over 10 years of design experience for industrial clients, and proficiency in REVIT, Bluebeam, and various power analysis software. Communication and leadership skills are essential for client interaction and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of electrical design experience
- P.E. license or ability to obtain licensure by reciprocity
- Experience in electrical design for facility and infrastructure projects
- In-depth knowledge of power distribution equipment and control systems
- Comprehensive understanding of national electrical code and standards
- Strong team player with leadership experience
- Exceptional communication skills; direct client engagement
- Proficient in executing design using REVIT and Bluebeam
- Experience with lighting calculation and power system analysis software
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using ETAP is preferred
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel for advanced spreadsheets
- Experience in management role providing direct supervision of staff
- Experience delivering instrumentation and control (I&C) systems
- Design automation skills, including the application of parametric design tools
- Software coding experience, especially with Python and/or C#
- Working with Revit’s API
- Power BI for data visualization
