Senior Electrical Engineer

Lead the design, development, and validation of electrical systems for an MR-conditional cardiac intervention platform. Provide technical leadership across the full product lifecycle from concept and architecture through verification, validation, and deployment, ensuring MR safety and regulatory compliance within Imricor’s Quality Management System. Responsibilities include guiding system architecture, developing optimized electrical solutions, conducting DFMEA, defining and executing verification/validation plans (bench, system integration, agency testing), and leading root-cause analyses. Collaborate with R&D, Design Assurance, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, and Marketing to support product launches, change control, manufacturing transfer, supplier engagement, and post-market engineering support. Maintain design documentation, risk management files, and regulatory technical documentation in compliance with quality systems. Preferred experience includes MR-conditional capital equipment, MR physics/RF/EMC in MR environments, and experience with regulatory submissions (FDA 510k/PMAs, CE). 5% travel and significant use of computer-based work. Requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), 7+ years of relevant experience, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
