Senior Electrical Engineer (HV/MV)

Job Summary
Represent the Client on site for medium- and high-voltage electrical systems, including the Primary Substation, providing technical leadership and client-side authority on power supply, grid interface, and energization matters. Review and comment on MV/HV designs, shop drawings, protection philosophies, method statements, and material submittals while coordinating with the Controller/PMC to align inspections and technical assessments. Oversee execution of MV/HV systems, transformers, switchgear, protection relays, SCADA, and cable terminations, ensuring seamless commissioning readiness. Witness and verify transformer, relay, cable, and functional testing activities. Requires a Bachelor's in electrical engineering and 10+ years in industrial construction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 10+ years of experience in industrial or large-scale construction projects
- Experience working in a client-side or Consultant role
- Proven ability to review and oversee General Contractor electrical works
- Experience working alongside PMC / Controller companies
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in Oman or GCC countries
