Job Summary
Lead Electrical Engineer for Healthcare Infrastructure in California OSHPD/HCAI projects. Lead the electrical design and delivery of large-scale healthcare facilities from concept through construction, overseeing power distribution, emergency systems, lighting, and critical infrastructure while ensuring compliance with OSHPD (HCAI) and California codes. Drive cross-discipline coordination (MEP, structural, architectural, contractors), serve as primary technical liaison to clients and project stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, support construction-phase activities, and contribute to process improvements and innovation. Requires extensive California healthcare design experience and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical analysis tools; strong leadership and project-delivery capability; PE licensure preferred but not required if healthcare OSHPD/HCAI experience is demonstrated.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of electrical engineering experience including leadership on large ground-up projects
- Significant California healthcare OSHPD/HCAI experience
- Deep understanding of power distribution, emergency systems, and critical infrastructure for healthcare facilities
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical analysis tools
- Leadership: ability to lead projects, coordinate teams, deliver high-quality results
