Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for facility-level electrical design and engineering for medium-voltage and low-voltage systems (35kV and below), including power distribution, emergency generators, UPS, lighting, fire alarms, and motor controls. Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers and designers; oversee project scope and budgets from conception through operation; conduct infrastructure assessments, master planning, field surveys, and code/energy evaluations; coordinate with other disciplines, clients, operators, and contractors; perform electrical calculations (load, short circuit, protective device coordination, arc flash) and produce equipment specifications. Review submittals and shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and generate punch lists from field observations. Preferred experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Life Science, and Laboratory industries; P.E. registration or path toward it; ability to support business development and lead in-house training. Location: Philadelphia (Hybrid schedule).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines
- 10+ years of relevant experience in electrical design and engineering focused on building systems
- Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) designation
- Proficiency in SKM Power*Tools software, MS Office, and Adobe Professional
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple projects, and adjust work against tight deadlines
