Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for facility-level electrical design and engineering for medium- and low-voltage systems (35kV and below), including power distribution, emergency generators, UPS, lighting controls, fire alarm systems, and motor controls; lead project teams of engineers and designers, manage scope and budgets from conception through operation, perform infrastructure assessments and master planning, conduct field surveys and code/energy evaluations, coordinate with other disciplines and clients, perform electrical calculations (load, short-circuit, protection, arc flash), write equipment specifications, review submittals and shop drawings, respond to RFIs, create punch lists, and mentor junior staff; preferred experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/life sciences contexts with AutoCAD/REVIT and optional P.E. license, plus ability to contribute to business development and training initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 7 - 10+ years of experience in electrical design and engineering
- Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) designation
- Proficiency in SKM PowerTools, MS Office, and Adobe Professional/Blue Beam
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
