Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and delivery of complex electrical systems in Amman, Jordan. Responsibilities include designing and optimizing LV/ELV/FLS solutions, coordinating with MEP and other disciplines, preparing technical documentation and regulatory submissions, monitoring timelines and budgets, solving design challenges with innovative, cost-effective approaches, maintaining organized records for audits, providing guidance on RFPs and prequalification, and staying current with industry standards and CPD. Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, minimum 6 years of experience, strong MEP coordination experience in the Middle East, and proficiency in BIM, AutoCAD/REVIT/Navisworks, Dialux Evo, and related design tools. English communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in electrical engineering
- Experience with MEP coordination on medium to large-scale projects
- Strong background in site safety compliance, inspection protocols, and Health & Safety management
- Experience with project scheduling, progress monitoring, and budget management
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in the Middle East region, with familiarity of GCC market conditions
- Advanced proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digitalization techniques
- Expert-level skills in AutoCAD, REVIT, Navisworks, and MS Office suite
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as Dialux Evo and specialized calculation tools
- Knowledge of LV, ELV, and Fire Life Safety design
- Understanding of BS-EN, CIBSE, ASHRAE, NFPA design standards
- Familiarity with KSA building codes and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification (Preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar (Preferred)
- H&S certifications relevant to construction/electrical (Preferred)
