Job Summary
Design, develop, and analyze high-performance digital processing electronics centered on FPGAs and SoCs for mission-critical defense applications. Troubleshoot malfunctions in new or existing systems, modify designs as needed, and drive programs to meet cost and design-for-manufacture requirements. Develop prototypes to retire key development risks and specify supplier components while reviewing customer specifications. Lead less-experienced engineers, participate in proposals, and communicate technical knowledge across company personnel and customers. Requires U.S. citizenship, active DOD security clearance, and 8 years of experience in digital electronics and circuit-level debugging.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of experience
- Fluency in technologies and application domain
- Cadence/Allegro Tool Experience (Or equivalent)
- Design experience with digital electronics, microcontrollers, FPGAs, high-speed DRAM, and Point-Of-Load power supplies
- Work experience with high-speed transceivers, high speed video interfaces, USB, UART, SPI, I2C
- Experienced at circuit-level debugging/troubleshooting
- Experience constraining and reviewing electrical in support of circuit-card layouts
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
