Senior Electrical Engineer

Lead and guide design and construction projects internally and externally with clients and contractors. Prepare, read, and interpret technical drawings and schematics while professionally stamping drawings and preparing affidavits. Coordinate with all disciplines to integrate work and client requests, evaluating contractor submittals to ensure conformance with contract documents. Effectively communicate scope, schedule, and budget to clients, co-workers, and technical teams through verbal and written interactions with owners, architects, and contractors. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to staff engineers while leading new project pursuits via RFP input and presentations. Design and specify system components for energy-efficient buildings, focusing on power distribution, lighting controls, emergency power, and renewable energy systems. This onsite role in the Chicago office requires 8+ years of experience in consulting engineering and proficiency with Revit/AutoCAD.
